Our studio series of applique cotton cushion covers is inspired by mid century abstract painting and tapestry work with a vintage take on local wild life, fauna & flora. A great way to add colour and texture to your living space. Mix them up for a statement sofa, or just add a touch where they work best for you. Cushions come with contrast chunky cotton backs and an invisible zip. Cushion pad not included.

The cushion designs are appliqued by hand by a small team of village women artisans. Mid-Century inspired designs embody our take on this local craft of appliqué. Stemming from a village in the Kandyan hills, our artisans once worked with much more traditional designs, but have since up skilled to take on the 21st century & your choice contributes to their livelihoods whilst protecting this heritage craft for our world, cause the way you live, is the way you give!
